Passenger airbag module (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The removal procedure descriptions in this manual may contain installation steps.

Removal

1. Secure the SRS system. Refer to the procedure: Standard Workshop Procedure (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).

2. Remove the glove compartment. Refer to procedure: Glove Compartment (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).





5. Tightening torque: 10 Nm

NOTE: If replacement of SRS components is required, the bar code of the new component must be recorded.

NOTE: Do not continue disassembly if the component is removed only for access.

Installation

1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
