License plate lights (Freelander 2)

Two number plate lights are integrated into the tailgate handle and are located above the number plate in the upper section of the tailgate. Each number plate light uses a 5 W bulb without a base.

The lights are secured with clips in the handle of the upper section of the tailgate. They can be released with a small flat-blade screwdriver. The number plate lights are always on when the parking lights or headlights are on.
