Attention:
- 1) When removing and installing the current collector, the steered wheels must be in a straight-ahead position.
- 2) Store the current collector in a plastic bag.
- 3) Do not rotate the removed current collector.
1. Remove the airbag.
2. Remove the steering wheel.
3. Release the lever and lower the steering column.
4. Release the access panel fasteners and remove the panel.

5. Remove the 3 screws securing the lower steering column cover.

6. Remove the steering column covers.
7. Disconnect the airbag system wire harness connector.

8. Disconnect the current collector connector.

9. Release the latches securing the current collector from the steering column.
10. Remove the current collector.
11. Fix the current collector from rotation with adhesive tape in position A.

12. Installation is carried out in reverse order. If, when installing a new current collector, it is discovered that the protective tape B is missing, such a current collector must not be installed.

13. Turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times. If you hear noise from the current collector, check that it is installed correctly.
