Kick-down cable adjustment (V8i) (Discovery 1)

1. Close the throttle completely, check that the lever mechanism is adjusted correctly.

2. Adjust the position of the cable sheath so that the dimension A between the sheath bushing and the cable stop is 0.25 - 1.25 mm.

3. Tighten the locknuts and recheck dimension A.

Note: When installing a new cable, secure the stop at distance B measured along the old cable.
