1. Disconnect the kick-down cable from the fuel injection pump lever.
2. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the fuel injection pump lever.
3. Adjust the kickdown cable so that dimension A is 28 mm. There should be approximately 6 threads (dimension B) on the opposite side of the bracket.
4. Tighten the lock nuts. Connect the kick-down cable to the fuel injection pump lever.
5. Connect the accelerator cable to the fuel injection pump lever.
6. Remove the rubber cover from the kick-down cable.
7. Turn the accelerator cable adjusting nut to set a gap of 1 mm between the kick-down cable nipple and the braided bushing (distance C).
8. Replace the rubber boot.
