Removal
Please note: Removal and installation of the bridge requires two people.
1. Drain the brake fluid from the system.
1 - axle beam, 2 - ventilation tube, 3 - axle shaft, 4 - wheel hub, 5 - bearing hub, 6 - bearings, 7 - inner oil seal, 8 - outer oil seal, 9 - retaining ring, thrust washer and nuts, 10 - brake disc, 11 - ABS sensor gear (if installed).
2. Raise the rear wheels and place the car on stands.
3. Remove the wheels.
4. Place a mobile jack under the bridge.
5. Disconnect the ABS sensor connectors (if installed).
6. Disconnect the shock absorbers.
7. Disconnect the brake hoses from the fittings on the underbody.

8. Disconnect the lower reaction rods.
9. Disconnect the propeller shaft from the main gear. Secure the shaft to the side.
10. Disconnect the upper torque rod ball joint bracket from the bridge.
11. Loosen the suspension spring seat mounting bolts and remove the seats.
12. Lower the bridge and remove the springs.
13. Disconnect the rear anti-roll bar fasteners, see. "Rear suspension".
14. Roll the bridge out from under the car.

Installation
15. Move the bridge into place and connect the lower reaction rods. Tighten the mounting bolts to 176 Nm.
16. Reinstall the removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
17. Tighten the upper torque rod bracket fasteners to 176 N·m.
18. Bleed the brake system.
