Removal


1. Remove the battery. For more information, refer to Battery (86.15.01)

2. Remove the upper engine compartment heat shield.
  • Remove the screw.
  • Release the 2 clamps.
Release the 2 clamps.


3. Remove the side wall of the battery compartment.
  • Release the positive battery cable and grommet.
  • Release the 4 clamps.
Release the 4 clamps.


4. Release the heater pipes. Unscrew the fastening screw.

5. Remove the battery tray. Unscrew the 3 mounting nuts.



5. Remove the battery tray. Unscrew the 3 mounting nuts.


Installation


1. When installing, repeat the removal procedure in reverse order. Tighten the nuts (tightening torque 12 Nm).
