ECM (engine control unit) the V6 engine has a speed control function. The EMS uses a series of resistive ladder networks to sense the speed control commands given by the driver. Speed control is accomplished using switches mounted on the steering wheel. The resistive ladder network includes 3 illuminated rocker switches. For more information, refer to Speed Control (310-03A)
There is no main switch for the speed control function, the function is activated by pressing the setting switch.
