The crankshaft rear oil seal is pressed into the rear of the cylinder block. The front crankshaft oil seal is installed in the front cover of the engine, directly below the coolant pump.

The oil pump is mounted on the right rear bottom of the cylinder block in the ladder structure and secured with two bolts. It is driven by a transmission shaft through an intermediate shaft. Oil is supplied to the pump from the main gallery through holes in the cylinder block. The intermediate shaft passes through the cylinder block and connects to the drive, which is clamped in the camber at the rear of the engine. The oil pump housing contains an oil safety valve.
