The rear crankshaft oil seal is pressed into the rear of the cylinder block. The front crankshaft oil seal is mounted in the front engine cover, directly below the coolant pump.

The oil pump is mounted on the right rear lower part of the cylinder block in a ladder design and secured with two bolts. It is driven by the transfer shaft via the intermediate shaft. Oil is supplied to the pump from the main gallery through holes in the cylinder block. The intermediate shaft passes through the cylinder block and connects to the drive, which is clamped in the camber at the rear of the engine. The oil pump housing contains an oil relief valve.
