Front Left Oxygen Sensor: Americas (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the engine soundproofing cover.

ENGINE KV6 - MODIFICATION K, Camshafts of the left cylinder head, Soundproofing engine casing.

3. Remove the lower engine guard.

EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORK, Lower engine protection shield.

4. Loosen and disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.

5. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor wiring harness from the clamp.



6. Remove the oxygen sensor.

Installation

1. Clean the oxygen sensor and its mounting location.

2. Install the oxygen sensor and tighten it to 55 Nm.

3. Connect the oxygen sensor connector and secure it to the bracket.

4. Secure the sensor harness to the clamp.



5. Reinstall the lower engine guard.

6. Reinstall the engine soundproofing cover.

7. Connect the negative battery terminal.
