Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the engine soundproofing cover.
ENGINE KV6 - MODIFICATION K, Camshafts of the left cylinder head, Soundproofing engine casing.

3. Press the shoulders and disconnect the vacuum hose and ventilation hose from the throttle body and from the idle speed control valve.

4. Disconnect the cable housing from the bracket and disconnect the cable from the sector on the throttle pipe.

5. Vehicles with cruise control: Disconnect the vacuum hose from the cruise control actuator.

6. Disconnect the connectors from the throttle position sensor and the idle air control valve.

7. Unscrew the 4 bolts securing the throttle pipe to the intake manifold and remove the throttle pipe.

8. Remove the throttle body gasket from the intake manifold and discard it.
9. Vehicles with cruise control: Disconnect the actuator rod from the throttle actuator, unscrew the 3 screws securing the actuator bracket to the throttle pipe and remove the actuator.

10. Remove and discard the 2 screws and washers that secure the throttle position sensor to the throttle body. Remove the data plate from the sensor.
CAUTION: Do not move the sensor by turning or levering.

11. Unscrew the 2 screws securing the idle speed control valve to the throttle body, remove the valve and discard its gasket.
Installation
1. Wipe the mating surfaces of the idle speed control valve and throttle body.
2. Install the idle speed control valve with a new gasket on the throttle body, screw in the screws and tighten them to a torque of 6 Nm.
3. Wipe the throttle position sensor and mating surfaces.

4. Install the sensor on the throttle shaft. Make sure that the flat on the throttle shaft aligns with the mating part on the position sensor.
CAUTION: The throttle position sensor can be easily damaged during installation. When placing the sensor on the throttle shaft, use only finger pressure and apply it only to the shaded areas in the illustration.
5. Turn the sensor counterclockwise until the mounting holes are aligned.
CAUTION: Do not rotate the sensor clockwise and ensure that the sensor does not go beyond the internal stops when rotating.
6. Install the data plate on the sensor.
7. Screw in new mounting bolts with new wave washers and tighten the bolts to a torque of 1.5 Nm.
8. Vehicles with cruise control: Install the actuator bracket to the throttle body. Install the screws and tighten them to 9 Nm. Connect the actuator rod to the throttle actuator.
9. Clean the mating surfaces of the throttle body and intake manifold.
10. Install a new gasket on the intake manifold.
11. Install the throttle body onto the intake manifold, screw in the bolts and tighten them to 7 Nm.
12. Connect the throttle position sensor and idle air control valve connectors.
13. Vehicles with cruise control: Connect the vacuum hose to the cruise control actuator.
14. Connect the throttle control cable to the drive sector and secure it to the bracket.
15. Connect the ventilation hose and vacuum hose to the throttle body and to the idle speed control valve.
16. Adjust the throttle control cable.
FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM OF GASOLINE ENGINE, ADJUSTMENTS, Throttle control cable - checking and adjustment: KV6 engine.
17. Connect the negative battery terminal.
18. Reinstall the engine soundproofing cover.
ENGINE KV6 - MODIFICATION K, Camshafts of the left cylinder head, Soundproofing engine casing.
19. Use the Testbook device to perform adjustments.
