The procedure described also applies to the high power mode throttle actuator motor.
Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the engine soundproofing cover.

- a Electric motor for driving the intake system balancing flaps.
- b High power mode damper drive motor.
3. Disconnect the connector from the high power throttle actuator motor.
4. Unscrew the 4 screws securing the electric motor to the intake manifold.
5. Carefully remove the electric motor from the intake manifold.
Installation
1. Wipe the mating surfaces of the electric motor and intake manifold.
2. Check that the gasket already installed on the new electric motor is in the correct position.
3. Install the electric motor, making sure that the damper drive rod is in place.
4. Screw in the screws securing the electric motor to the intake manifold and tighten them to a torque of 1.7 Nm.
5. Connect the connector to the high power throttle actuator motor.
6. Reinstall the engine soundproofing cover.

7. Connect the negative battery terminal.
