Front Right Oxygen Sensor: Except Americas (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Raise the front of the vehicle.

CAUTION: Do not work under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle with safety stands.

2. Remove the left front wheel.



3. Remove the right oxygen sensor connector from the bracket on the coolant pipe and disconnect the connector.

4. Remove the oxygen sensor from the right exhaust manifold.

Installation

1. Wipe the oxygen sensor and the mating surface of the exhaust manifold.

2. Install the heated oxygen sensor in place and tighten it to 55 Nm.

3. Connect the right oxygen sensor connector, secure the connector to the coolant pipe bracket.



4. Reinstall the left wheel and tighten the nuts to a torque of 115 Nm.

5. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
