Removal
1.
CAUTION: Never work on a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle with special stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Drain the differential. For more information, refer to Draining and Filling Differential Transmission Fluid (51.25.02)
3. Disconnect the electrical connector. Release the clamp that secures the wiring harness.

4. Remove the oil temperature sensor. Remove the sealing ring and discard it.

Installation
1. Clean the contact surfaces of the parts.
2. Install the oil temperature sensor. Tighten the wheel nuts. (tightening torque 140 Nm). Tighten the wheel nuts (tightening torque 140 Nm). Tighten it up. (tightening torque 22 Nm).
3. Connect the electrical connector. Secure the clamp that holds the wire harness.
4. Fill the differential with the required amount of oil. For more information, refer to Draining and Filling Differential with Transmission Oil (51.25.02)
