Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) Sensor 4.4L (Discovery 3)

Removal

CAUTION: Before disconnecting or disassembling parts, make sure that the area around the contact surfaces and connections is clean. To avoid contamination of the system, close all open connections with plugs.

Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. For more information, please refer to the Specification

2. Remove the panel covering access to the radiator. Remove 4 bolts.



3. Remove the oil pressure sensor.

• Disconnect the plug connector.
• Place a container to collect any spilled liquid.

Installation

1. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.

• Tighten the oil pressure sensor (tightening torque 12 Nm).
• Tighten the M6 bolts (tightening torque 10 Nm).
• Tighten the M10 bolts (tightening torque 45 Nm).

2. Check the engine oil level and top up if necessary.
