The filler neck is located at the rear of the body above the right rear wheel. The neck is closed with a plastic cap, which is locked by an electric lock when the car is locked. The filler neck cap is a standard screw plug, which is attached to the car with a cord.
NOTE: On North American vehicles, the plastic fuel filler cap does not lock.
The filler neck is made of stainless steel. The filler neck is attached with two brackets to the car body and to the bracket of the electric parking brake.
The fuel tank breather tube is connected to the nipple on the rear of the filler neck, coming from the fuel tank breather nipple. The fuel tank breather tube has a quick-release nipple, with which the breather tube is connected to the fuel tank breather nipple. The ventilation line of the fuel tank filler neck is discharged into the atmosphere. There is a mosquito net in the ventilation line near the filler neck. The filler branch pipe is located in a short flexible hose attached to the fuel tank using two worm clamps.
Attached to the side of the filler neck is another smaller line that is not related to the fuel system. This line is connected to the rear differential and provides ventilation for the differential housing. The line ends near the filler neck of the fuel tank.
