Dismantling


1. Remove the plastic door panel trim.

2. Disconnect the outer handle rod from the lock.

3. Disconnect the lock button rod from the door lock.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the door lock.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the door lock.


5. Remove the 3 Torx screws securing the lock to the door.

6. Remove the lock assembly from the lock hole.

6. Remove the lock assembly from the lock hole.


7. Open the protective cover of the lock.



8. Release the release cable retainer from the lock.

9. Disconnect the release cable from the lock.

Installation


1. Connect the release cable to the lock and close the lock protective cover.

2. Install the lock into the door, screw in and tighten the Torx screws.

3. Connect the electrical connector to the lock.

4. Connect the outer handle rod to the lock.

5. Connect the lock button rod to the lock.

6. Check how the lock works.

7. Install the plastic door panel trim.
