Luggage compartment door lock (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the plastic trim from the luggage compartment door.

2. Unscrew the 4 screws securing the door lock.

3. Remove the door lock to gain access to the wiring clamps and electrical connectors.



4. Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors from the door lock.

5. Remove 2 electrical wiring clamps from the lock.

6. Remove the lock from the door.



7. Remove the screw from the electric drive rod and remove the electric drive rod from the lock.

Installation

1. Install the electric drive rod on the lock, screw in and tighten the screw that secures it.

2. Insert the lock into the door, connect the electrical connectors and wiring clamps.

3. Install the lock in place, screw in and tighten the screws that secure it.

4. Install the plastic trim on the luggage compartment door.
