Dismantling


1. Raise the front of the vehicle.

CAUTION: Do not work under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle with safety stands.


2. Remove the lower engine guard.

3. Loosen and disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.

3. Loosen and disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.


4. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor wiring harness from the clamp.

5. Remove the oxygen sensor from the left exhaust manifold.

Installation


1. Wipe the oxygen sensor and the mating surface of the exhaust manifold.

2. Install the heated oxygen sensor in place and tighten it to 55 Nm.

3. Connect the connector to the oxygen sensor and secure the connector in the bracket and the harness in the clamp.



4. Reinstall the lower engine guard.

5. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
