Oil filter housing gasket (Discovery 1)

Replacement

1. Disconnect the oil cooling pipes.

2. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor wire.

3. Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the filter housing together with the gasket.



4. Clean the mating surfaces.

5. Install the new gasket and filter housing.

6. Tighten the mounting bolts to 45 Nm.

7. Connect the oil cooling pipes.
