The multi-function steering column switch is a housing in which the turn signal switch assembly, wiper control switch assembly and coil spring are installed. The multifunction switch is located behind the steering wheel and is attached with two screws to the top of the steering column and two screws to the bottom of the steering column lock housing.
The coil spring is located in front of the housing and is secured with four screws. The coil spring fits into grooves on the steering wheel hub and turns as the steering wheel is turned. The coil spring has a protrusion that turns off the direction indicators when the steering wheel is turned.
