The steering column multifunction switch is a housing that houses the turn signal switch assembly, windshield wiper control switch assembly, and coil spring. The multifunction switch is located behind the steering wheel and is secured with two screws to the top of the steering column and two screws to the bottom of the steering column lock housing.

The coil spring is located in front of the housing and is secured with four screws. The coil spring fits into grooves on the steering wheel bushing and rotates as the steering wheel is turned. The coil spring has a protrusion that turns off the turn signals when the steering wheel is turned.
