Removal
1.
CAUTION: Never work on a vehicle supported solely by a jack. Always support the vehicle securely.
Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the clutch pressure plate and driven plate. For more information, refer to Clutch Driven and Pressure Plates (33.10.01)
3.
NOTE: Secure the flywheel to prevent it from rotating.
Remove the flywheel. Remove the 8 Torx head bolts.

Installation
1.
CAUTION: Tighten the bolts in a crisscross pattern.
NOTE: Secure the flywheel to prevent it from rotating.
Install the flywheel.
- Clean the contact surfaces of the parts.
- Tighten the mounting bolts in 3 stages.
- Tighten the Torx head bolts (tightening torque 45 Nm).
- Tighten the Torx head bolts to 45 degrees.
- Tighten the Torx head bolts an additional 45 degrees.
