2. Install the automatic transmission on a disassembly workbench. Using handles 18G1501, remove the torque converter, being careful not to damage the oil pump seal.

3. Unscrew 12 bolts (internal, hex head) fastenings of the torque converter housing.

4. Remove the torque converter housing and oil pump. Discard the gasket.
5. Unscrew the 8 oil pump mounting bolts.
6. Screw 2 bolts into the diametrical seats. Using a plastic-faced hammer, lightly tap the bolts to knock the pump out of the crankcase.

7. Remove and discard the oil seal and O-ring from the pump body.
8. Using the LST 108 tool, install the new seal onto the pump body.
9. Place the new sealing ring into the groove of the housing.
10. Align the mounting holes and guide pins, install the pump on the torque converter housing.
11. Tighten the mounting bolts to a torque of 10 Nm.
12. Install the pump on the workbench. Use the LST 111 key to check the pump's freedom of rotation.
13. Before installing the torque converter housing, check the condition of the thrust washer and clutch axial separator A.

14. Using grease, secure the gasket and washer to the torque converter housing.
15. Install the torque converter housing onto the gearbox housing, tighten the 12 mounting bolts to a torque of 46 N·m.
16. Using the LST 111 key, check the axial clearance of the pump shaft. If the gap is not 0.2-0.4 mm, replace the rear washer of the torque converter.
17. Install the torque converter.
