Exhaust manifold (Discovery 3)

Each bank of cylinders has its own dual-layer stainless steel exhaust manifold. The B-bank manifold has a connection for the EGR bypass pipe.

Spacers on the mounting bolts allow the manifolds to expand and contract with temperature changes while maintaining constant clamping force.

Heat shields are built into the exhaust manifold gaskets.
