The connecting rods are made of sintered and forged steel and have split bearing caps. The bearing cap connector runs along the horizontal axis of the bearing through two opposite sides of the connecting rod. In addition to ease of manufacture, when assembled, detachable parts made using a special technology form a strong seamless connection. The position of the cylinder is marked on the adjacent sides of the joint to identify the corresponding connecting rods and bearing caps. The connecting rod bearings are aluminum/tin split plain bearings.
The pistons have an open skirt. Each piston has three rings - two compression and one oil scraper. Each piston is mounted on a piston pin mounted in an aluminum/tin connecting rod bushing.

The piston number is stamped on the piston head and must match the cylinder number. The piston must be installed in the specified cylinder with the correct side:
- Row "A" - Piston number and thick connecting rod flange point towards the front of the engine.
- Row "IN" - the piston number and the thin connecting rod flange are directed towards the front of the engine.
