Removal

NOTE: Dismantling and installation of the right valve timing control unit is carried out in the same way as the corresponding operations for the left unit and are described in the procedure for replacing the timing mechanism parts.

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. For more information, refer to Specification.

2. Remove the timing mechanism components. For more information, refer to Timing Mechanism Components (12.65.13)

Installation

1. Install the timing mechanism components. For more information, refer to Timing Mechanism Components (12.65.13)

2. Connect the ground cable to the battery. For more information, refer to Specification.
