Replacing hydraulic tappets (Discovery 1)

1. Remove the rocker arm shaft.

2. Remove the intake manifold (see "Fuel system").

3. Remove the push rods.

4. Remove the hydraulic lifters.

5. Install new tappets, pushrods and rocker arm shaft, refer to the V8i engine repair manual.

6. Reinstall the removed parts.
