Contents: Replacing the power steering pump…⇩ Power steering pump reservoir hoses ⇩
Caution: Before disconnecting the tube or hose, clean the connection area. After disconnecting, plug the hose or tube and fitting.


Replacing the power steering pump hoses



1. Remove the plug from the supply hose and attach the clip to the hose.

2. Place the hose on the pump.

3. Secure the clip. Tightening torque 3 Nm.

4. Tighten the hose nut by hand.

Shown for V8i engine.

5. While holding the hose in the correct position, tighten the nut to a torque of 20 Nm.

6. Install the hoses onto the steering gear and tighten the mounting nuts by hand.

7. Tighten the nuts: M16 to 20 Nm, M14 to 15 Nm.



Power steering pump reservoir hoses



1. The tightening torque of the clamp screw is 3 Nm.
