Please read the warnings section "Steering cardan shaft".
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the steering column covers.
3. Remove the lower access panel on the driver's side.
4. If installed: unscrew the 4 screws securing the steering column breaker assembly and remove the assembly.
5. Disconnect the ignition switch connector from the fuse box.

6. Disconnect the main ignition switch connector.

7. Pull out the steering column lamp base.
8. Using a chisel, loosen the column lock mounting bolts.
9. Unscrew and discard the bolts.
10. Remove the saddle.

11. Remove the steering column lock.
Installation
12. Install the lock seat onto the steering column with the tab in the hole.
13. Install the lock.
14. Tighten the mounting bolts; there is no need to cut off the bolt heads now.
15. Connect the wiring connectors.
16. Secure the steering column lamp base.
17. Connect the battery.
18. Check that the lock operates correctly, tighten the lock mounting bolts until the heads are sheared off.
19. Reinstall the removed parts.
