Front air suspension solenoid valve block (Discovery 3)

Removal


1.
CAUTION: Do not work on or under a vehicle that is supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle securely.


Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the right mudguard. For more information, refer to Mudguard (76.10.48)

3. Use the T4 tool to release pressure from the air suspension. For more information, refer to Releasing and Raising Pressure in the Air Suspension System (60.50.38)

4.
CAUTION: Before disconnecting or removing any parts, ensure that the area around mating surfaces and connections is clean. To avoid contamination of the system, cover all open connections.

CAUTION: Visually inspect the ends of the air lines for damage or wear. Repair or replace the air line if necessary.


NOTE: Record the position of the air lines.


Disconnect the 3 air lines from the front air suspension solenoid valve block.

5. Remove the front air suspension solenoid valve block.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector.
  • Release the 3 rubber valve block insulators.
Release the 3 rubber valve block insulators.


6. Remove the Voss type fittings from the air lines. Remove and discard the cone bushing and coupling.



Installation


1.
CAUTION: Make sure the new Voss type fitting is installed and fully tightened with the corrector plug installed.


NOTE: New air suspension components are supplied with new Voss style nipples installed and already torqued to the correct value. Therefore, if a new part is installed, it is not necessary to install new Voss style nipples.


Install new Voss type nipples to the front air suspension solenoid valve block. Tighten to 2.5 Nm.

2.
NOTE: Be careful not to let the valve block come off when connecting the air lines.


Install the front air suspension solenoid valve block.
  • Secure the 3 rubber valve block insulators.
  • Connect the air lines to the Voss type fittings.
  • Pull on each air line to ensure it is fully seated in the Voss style fitting.
  • Connect the electrical connector.

3. Use the T4 tool to pressurize the air suspension. For more information, refer to Releasing and Pressurizing the Air Suspension System (60.50.38)

4. Install the right mudguard. For more information, refer to Mudguard (76.10.48)

непонятно описан процесс подсоединения трубок воздушных магистралей к новому блоку клапанов.трубки что,просто вставлять в новые, уже прикрученные штуцера voss(там же в них заглушки-корректоры),или штуцера надо открутить от блока клапанов,убрать заглушки-корректоры,одеть на трубки, потом прикрутить.
