Removal


1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. For more information, refer to Specification.

2. Remove the timing components. For more information, refer to Timing Components (12.65.13)

3. Remove the oil pan. For more information, refer to Oil Pan (12.60.44)

4. Remove the oil receiver intake tube with the mesh filter.
  • Remove 3 bolts.
  • Remove the sealing ring and discard it.

5. Remove the oil pump assembly.
  • Remove 4 bolts.
  • Remove the gasket and discard it.
  • Clean the contact surfaces of the parts.

Installation


1. Install the oil pump assembly.
  • Install a new gasket.
  • Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm.
2. Install the oil receiver intake tube with a mesh filter.


  • Install the sealing ring.
  • Tighten the bolt (tightening torque 6 Nm).
  • Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm.
3. Install the oil pan. For more information, refer to Oil Pan (12.60.44)

4. Install the timing components. For more information, refer to Engine Front Cover (12.65.01)
