Removing

1. Disconnect a wire of weight from the storage battery. For more information refer to Specification.
2. Remove the intake manifold. For more information refer to Intake Manifold (30.15.02)
3. Disconnect the fuel supply line. Turn out a bolt.

CAUTION: Some fuel will inevitably spill during this operation. Take all necessary measures to prevent fire and explosion.
Disconnect the fuel line using the special tool.
- Lay down an absorbent cloth to soak up spilled liquid
- Squeeze the quick coupling.

Remove the fuel rail.
- Turn out 4 bolts.
- Lay down an absorbent cloth to soak up spilled liquid.
6. Release and remove fuel nozzles. Remove and discard fuel injector o-rings.
7. Remove the Schrader valve.
- Remove 2 Torx head screws.
- Discard the O-ring.
Installation
1. Install the Schrader valve.
- Clean the contact surfaces of the parts.
- Install a new O-ring.
- Tighten the bolts (tightening torque 6 Nm).
2. Clean the parts.
3. Install the fuel rail.
- Install the fuel injector o-rings.
- Lubricate the O-rings.
- Tighten the bolts (tightening torque 25 Nm).
- Clean the contact surfaces of the parts.
- Install the clamp.
- tighten bolt (tightening torque 6 Nm).
6. Connect a wire of weight to the storage battery. For more information refer to Specification.
